The web is more entertaining when it is tearing down instead of building up – c.f. Cinematic Disasters: The 50 Worst Films of the Decade, meaning the 90’s. Good for me – I’ve only seen six of them, but I do remember some of these coming out and being horrified. [via PCJM]
I can agree with this list, except for Prelude to a Kiss.
I thought it raised fascinating questions. What does love mean? What is it that we love about someone? If they no longer look the same, can we still love them? Can love transcend gender? Do we really mean “forever” when we say it?
I don’t know if the filmmaker was trying to raise those questions. And yes they did it is somewhat of a klunky manner. But I found the movie profound.
